Welcome to PHIL203: Spring 2006
Ethics
Some of the most difficult questions we face in our personal lives and in public policy are about what is the right, or ethical, thing to do. This class will examine what is special about ethical reasons for doing one thing rather than another. We will examine some of the most important theoretical ways deciding what we should do, and of explaining the rightness or wrongness of individual acts and public policies.
NB: Important resources for this class (including additional required readings and quizzes) are available to registered students via
